support our young people

Scholarship Fund

The Caribbean Association of Adventists in Alberta (CAAA) aims to foster, maintain and promote the cultural characteristics of Caribbean people while adhering to the principles of the Seventh-day Adventist church. We welcome people of all ethnicities and cultural backgrounds to our annual Family Retreat, as well as other activities hosted during the year, such as the Gospel concert and Business Extravaganza.

Over the years CAAA has been able to disburse scholarships due to generous donations received from CAAA family and friends.

The number of scholarships awarded and the amount given depend on donations received.

The purpose of the CAAA Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the CAAA Scholarship Fund is to reward the outstanding academic achievement of Black post-secondary students in Alberta, who are enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program and are in financial need.

These are students who demonstrate the values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and/or contribute to the promotion of Caribbean culture in Alberta. A recipient may receive a maximum of two CAAA Scholarships.
